Beehive stand (landing board)

This sturdy wooden stand protects the bottom of the hive and provides the bees with a sloped landing surface. To avoid moisture problems and ensure proper insulation, it is important to keep the hive from being in direct contact with the ground.

Note: Exposure of untreated wooden hive components to the elements can lead to warping, cracking, or rot.

Before use, treat the exterior surfaces with finishes suitable for outdoor use and safe for bees. Please note that some finishes require drying time to allow for the off-gassing of VOCs before introducing bees.
