Oxalic acid dihydrate 99.6%

99.6% oxalic acid dihydrate is a white crystalline powder used to control Varroa mites in honey bee colonies. It can be introduced into the hive via sublimation or dissolved in sugar syrup and then trickled or sprayed between the frames.

Apply from late autumn to early spring, when observations indicate that treatment is necessary. Not effective on capped brood.

It is essential to wear personal protective equipment (safety gloves and respiratory mask) when using this product; avoid contact with the skin. When vaporizing (sublimating) oxalic acid crystals, a full-face respirator equipped with appropriate cartridges should be used.
