Fully assembled and perfectly sized for Langstroth hives. The central opening is compatible with most bee escapes. This inner cover features a notch on one side to provide ventilation. In winter, place the side with the notch facing down to create an upper entrance and allow for ventilation.

51 x 42 x 3 cm.
Notch: 5 cm wide.

Note:  Exposing untreated wooden hive components to the elements may result in warping, cracking, or rot.

Before use, treat exterior surfaces with outdoor-rated finishes that are safe for bees.  Note that some finishes require drying time to off-gas VOCs before introducing bees.
